Music Rights Agent

a tool for musiciansBelgium & EUbeta

Most independent artists miss out on royalties because rights registration is confusing and time-consuming.

Music Rights Agent is a practical tool, not a promise to fix everything. We built it for artists who want to protect their work, but don’t have the time — or the headspace — for admin.

No “AI magic.” No false guarantees. Just practical steps, based on how things really work for artists in Belgium.

Music Rights Agent interface
The tool, mid-registration
how it works
  1. Upload or paste your tracklist and credits.
  2. Get a custom checklist — SABAM, PlayRight, ISRC, and more.
  3. Copy ready-to-send emails, forms and instructions, then submit them yourself.

You’ll still need to take action — but you’ll know exactly what to do, in what order, for your situation. No login required, free to use, takes two minutes.

why we built it

We’re musicians and small label people ourselves. We’ve lost time and money because nobody explained rights registration in plain language, and the official sites aren’t built for working musicians.

the point
Stop losing money to admin
Royalties you are owed, left unclaimed because the paperwork was opaque.
the promise
A clear next step
Even if you are not a lawyer or a “pro” artist.
the rule
Your data stays yours
Nothing is saved or shared.
who it’s for

Independent musicians and producers, in Belgium, Europe and worldwide. Small labels and collectives. DIY artists who want to protect their work.

questions
Which countries does it support?
Launching with full support for Belgium (SABAM, PlayRight, SIMIM). France (SACEM), Germany (GEMA) and the Netherlands (Buma/Stemra) follow within 30 days. Further EU territories are added based on beta demand.
Do I need to own my master recordings?
No. It works for any ownership structure — whether you own 100% of your masters, co-own with collaborators, or have a label deal. It helps you register the rights you control.
Is submission automatic?
No. It generates pre-filled, personalised forms and emails. You review and submit them. That keeps you in control of your data and avoids power-of-attorney complications.
What if I’m already registered with SABAM?
It still helps you manage metadata, generate ISRCs, claim missing registrations such as neighbouring rights or the publisher’s share, and organise back-catalogue claims.
What does registration cost?
Most EU collection societies charge free or low-cost membership, roughly €50–150 a year. Music Rights Agent charges no ongoing fee — €15 once, for lifetime access.
Can I claim for music released years ago?
Yes. Most collection societies allow retroactive claims going back three to five years, and the tool helps you prepare them.
What’s the difference between SABAM and PlayRight?
SABAM collects composition royalties, for songwriters and composers. PlayRight collects neighbouring rights, for performers on recordings. If you write and perform your own music, you need both.
